It took some time for me to be able to write this but I want to truly thank all of the staff at Blue Pearl for taking care of our beloved cat Lily in his final hours. We have used this facility for cat emergencies for years now and they have always been truly amazing. They absolutely care for these animals and understand how important they are for us. If you have an emergency in the North Raleigh area there isn't a better emergency department available. Thank you for everything you do for our babies.

BluePearl is a wonderful pet emergency hospital that took excellent care of Harry our cat. The Internal Medicine vets were top notch but the real star of the team was Kim the Internal Medicine nurse. She kept me posted all 4 days that Harry was in the hospital. She gave great details to all that they were doing. The vets also called me at the end of every day to update. Fabulous facility!

This review is for Dr. Aponte-Colon. Stay away. We were referred by our vet for IBD versus GI Lymphoma. Dr. Aponte-Colon wanted to do an ultrasound and a biopsy. Our cat, who is 18 had just had an ultrasound, so I have no idea why she wanted to repeat one. The treatment for IBD and GI Lymphoma is the same, so I declined the biopsy on my very elderly cat, as I did not want to put her through that for no reason. We did agree to some bloodwork. As soon as we decline the biopsy and repeat ultrasound, Dr. Aponte-Colon was done with us. She couldn't get out of the room fast enough. Her advice was to go back to our vet and follow her advice. We never got the blood test results despite numerous calls, messages and emails to her. This is gross incompetence and total lack of caring. For this. we were charged over $600. I would never recommend her to anyone. As far as BluePearl, her incompetence is a reflection on them, but I can't speak for any other vet that may be employed by them. They knew that I had called over and over, and still no one bothered to make sure that I was given the blood test results that cost me over $600.
